Arranging Installation

Our expert team of installers and staff will help organise the installation of your panels and system at a convenient date. As the installation can take between 1-2 days, we will need access to the roof and areas of the property during the installation. Our team will be on hand throughout the installation process, ensuring that any questions you may have been answered and you are fully informed throughout the process.

Scaffolding

Our sister company, Silvercrest Scaffolding, will set up the appropriate scaffolding a couple of days before the installation, ensuring our team can access the roof and other areas safely throughout the installation. All scaffolding will be put up safely by our expert team of scaffolders, with all operatives being CITB/CSCS approved.

Installing Mounts Fitted

Once the scaffolding has been erected, our team of installers will be able to start the process of fitting the mounts upon which the panels will be fitted. Depending on the location the panels will be fitted, these mounts can be fixed to a roof, mounted into the ground or even on the side of a building.

Solar Panels, Inverter & Batteries fitted

When the mounts have been attached to the roof, the solar panels can then be attached and wired into the circuit. An inverter then needs to be installed and a home energy battery installed/connected to the circuit.

Connecting the system to the grid

The system will then be connected back to the grid, which will allow for energy export back for tariffs such as the smart export guarantee (SEG).

Connecting the energy management systems

Our team will then talk you through the various installed technologies ensuring you’re well informed of the various components and monitoring systems.

Enjoy the rewards

Finally, sit back and enjoy years of green electricity production through your solar panel system. With solar panels lasting anywhere up to and more than 50 years, your panels will deliver years of savings off your energy bills.
